While working the Next Step to Success doing Grant Writing, I have helped them work on many projects! There is where I'll showcase some of them with links and some photos:)
Grant Outreach & Community Partnership Projects
As part of this initiative, I researched and compiled a list of potential grant and community partnership opportunities, including the Dick’s Grant List, the Herndon Foundation 2026 Grant Request, Dominion Energy, and opportunities connected to the Rock Climbing Project and HII Shipyard. I also reached out to and submitted applications with my boss to several organizations like Ferguson, Hampton Roads, the Herndon Foundation, and Elizabeth River Crossings. While W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Heart Foundation applications are still in progress. Two of these outreach efforts resulted in us getting the grants from Hampton Roads and Elizabeth River Crossings. While projects were an executive summary for NSTS, as well as photo documentation from site walkthroughs at the Newport News (NN) location and the Elizabeth River Crossings (ERC) site.
